“Thank you and IFP MN for all of the support you’ve
given to me through the years as I got my footing as a
filmmaker. I appreciate the kindness of your entire staff.”
– Jamie Lee
“I can’t thank you enough for all the effort
and resources you and the staff at IFP have extended to
me for this exhibit. I am so grateful for the opportunity
you have given me to show the work that is an important
part of my life. You run an exemplary organization that
truly supports and assists artists and their work.”
– Ken Olson
IFP Minnesota exists for you and because of you. As a
501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we're able to support
independent film and photography thanks to our supporters.
From individual and corporate giving to sponsorships,
there are many ways to get involved. Our Director of Development,
Mara Winke, is happy to answer any questions at 651-644-1912.
IFP Minnesota envisions a world where expression through
images is encouraged and valued. It is our goal to lead
the way in supporting the independent media artist by
creating a healthy, viable filmmaking and photographic
community in the Midwest.
IFP Minnesota relies on the generous contributions of
members, corporations, foundations, and government agencies.
These contributions are vital in order to better serve
our community. In fact, 68% of our budget is contributed
by the community, including media artists and appreciators
- people just like you.
IFP Minnesota invites you to show your support for the
media arts through a financial contribution to the IFP
MN Annual Fund. No amount is too small - all donations
make a difference.
The Center for Media Arts consolidated IFP MN’s
three offices and facilities into a convenient and accessible
“one-stop-shop” for our growing constituency
of media artists, students and community members. The
new site features state-of-the-art editing suites; expanded
darkrooms and classroom facilities; updated film and photography
equipment for member and student use; an office to house
the Minnesota Film and TV Board; and new meeting spaces
for outreach programs and community groups.
This relocation addresses the technical demands of a membership
base that has grown exponentially in the past 3 years.
It also allows IFP MN to bring the media arts to new audiences
through expanded outreach programs and community partnerships.
To date, we have raised over 98% of our goal of $500,000
to fund facility renovation, equipment purchases and program
development.
If you would like more information regarding making a
personal donation to IFP Minnesota’s Annual Fund
or Capital Campaign, please contact Mara Winke, Director of Development, at (651) 644-1912 or email at
mwinke@ifpmn.org.
