Iowa City International Documentary Film Festival
Late deadline: March 6, 2010
We are looking to put together a diverse program that covers a broad range of forms, modes and styles, from conventional documentary to experimental non-fiction. In short, anything that adds to the field or to the way we think about the form and practice of non-fiction filmmaking. All we ask is that the work be less than 30 minutes in length, as programming is tight and very rarely are we able to make space for longer work. Please see our submission guidelines for more details, including fees, mailing address, preview formats etc. Please visit us at http://icdocs.blogspot.com or email icdocs@gmail.com with any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing your submission.

From Bobby Marsden at the 28th Annual Minneapolis St Paul International Film Festival: I am now accepting submissions of SHORT FILMS ONLY for possible inclusion into the festival. Please visit mspfilmfest.org for all details and the submission form. All types of films are eligible: Narrative, Documentary, Music Video, Experimental, Animation, and any genre you would like to invent are open to consideration. MSPIFF would like to have all films completed in the years 2008 – 2010. Preference is given to films that have yet to screen locally – but my job is to put the BEST PROGRAMS together – and that is what I will do, all things considered. Submissions must be sent in no later than March 11! Please don’t wait until March 10th to postmark your film. Trust me on this, the earlier you submit, the better chance you have. There is no submission fee for Minnesota filmmakers. Please follow the instructions provided to you on the official website. Feel free to contact me at bobbymarsden@gmail.com with any questions.
